COVID-19 (Coronavirus) statement: Missing Peace remains open for business - with an emphasis on hygiene and safety. Face-to-face counselling remains available, while observing social distancing guidelines. We’re also encouraging clients to consider sessions online or by phone, so please feel welcome to state your preference as you fill out the express booking form on our website. Thank you for your understanding and stay safe.
Whether you’re struggling with personal issues, or experiencing difficulties in your relationships with others, Missing Peace offers practical and logical solutions to life’s most intricate problems.
Conducted by a University qualified counsellor, the Missing Peace recipe blends modern psychology with reason and logic to help you feel in control again. Regardless of your circumstance, you won’t be judged or ignored as your counsellor listens to you and offers effective guidance for your long term wellbeing.
We begin with an introduction to each other. Your counsellor will take the time to understand your unique situation and focus on your story, your needs and the results you seek. This first session often spans around 1.5 hours, with subsequent sessions spanning 1 hour, depending on your situation.
It’s important to work in partnership with you, because effective counselling doesn’t involve telling you what to do. Instead, we’ll work alongside you and impart the skills required for you to find that unique direction in your life.
Each subsequent session spans approximately 1 hour and begins with a review on your progress along with feedback on techniques learned from our previous sessions.
Our intent is to ensure you complete your therapy with the tools and confidence to tackle life’s adversity and enhance your everyday wellbeing.
